Vintage 1982

Grape blend : 60% cabernet sauvignon - 40% merlot.

The climate : A hot spring followed a mild winter and ennabled a precocious flowering begining june. July and august were hot with some scarce favorable rains. September was equally hot and even dryer.
The harvest began mid september and lasted for three glorious weeks.
The quality was exceptionnal, almost lacking acidity and therefore structure for some.
