Vintage 1995
Grape blend : 60 % cabernet sauvignon - 37 % merlot - 3% petit-verdot.
The wheater : A mild winter and flowering begining june seemed to lead to a precocious vintage. Summer was exceptionnally hot and dry. Signs of drought. Early september some showers helped the grapes to finish their ripening. The harvest began by the end of september with a few rains again but with no particular consequence except perhaps a very light dilution.
Doubtlessly a great vintage.

The wine : Good colour. Starting to develop. Full, aromatic, classic bouquet with depth and notes of blackcurrants. A little development now. Starting to get soft. Ample wine with nice round ripe fruit. Long with good classy fruit. Very enjoyable after some decanting.

Drink 2001-2010
