Grape blend : 60% cabernet sauvignon - 40% merlot. |
| The wheater : A fairly cold spring with flowering around mid-june. July was very hot whilst august seemed milder. Some rains at the begining of september and then a hot spell and a more moderate climate for the rest of the month. The harvest occured during the first half of october showing great qualities. |

The wine : "Good full mature colour. Firm and rich and slightly robust : just what you would expect. Still fullish, vigourous, very ripe and rich. With a lot of enjoyment to offer. Slightly sturdy. But not astringent. Good for a good few years yet." Clive Coates M.W. The Vine 1996
